Lipps, Inc. paired electronic dance production with Cynthia Johnson’s powerful vocals to create an enduring disco sound. Mouth to Mouth is the album associated with Funkytown, a defining crossover between late disco and the emerging electronic pop of the early 1980s. Bright, rhythmic and built for the dance floor.
