Martha Wash and Izora Armstead brought enormous vocal presence to Two Tons O’ Fun before becoming widely known as the Weather Girls. Their self-titled album channels that gospel-rooted power into celebratory disco and soul. A lively example of the vocal-driven dance music bridging the late 1970s and early 1980s.
