Beenie Man — Undisputed Album Promo T-Shirt — 31 × 26

$125.00

Yellow Beenie Man Undisputed album-promotion T-shirt. Front: “THE KING OF THE DANCEHALL IS BACK!” Reverse: “BEENIE MAN / NEW ALBUM / UNDISPUTED / COMING SOON,” with Virgin Records branding. Measurements supplied: 31 × 26 inches. Tagged size unconfirmed. One available.

Beenie Man is a defining voice in Jamaican dancehall. His rhythmic delivery and commanding stage presence helped carry the sound of Jamaica’s sound-system culture to audiences around the world. Songs such as “Who Am I (Sim Simma)” and “Girls Dem Sugar” connected dancehall with international hip-hop and R&B listeners. His cultural importance rests in that exchange: Jamaican language, movement, style, and performance circulating across the Black diaspora while retaining a distinct identity.

Released by Virgin in 2006, Undisputed continued that international conversation. “Girls,” featuring Akon, paired Beenie Man with another major crossover voice, while the album’s dancehall foundation kept it rooted in Jamaican club culture. The shirt’s declaration of kingship and “COMING SOON” reverse capture the anticipation and competitive self-presentation of the album campaign. It is a piece of music-promotion history connecting dancehall, fashion, and Black cultural memory.

Condition: Pre-owned with wrinkles, visible discoloration and marks, including near the hem, and wear to the print. Front and back photos are digitally isolated from the carpet; an original hem close-up documents condition. The album’s 2006 release date does not independently verify the shirt’s manufacture date.
